The Ultimate Runescape Gold Guide - Part Four
...monsters who can deal quite a bit of damage (not just the 1 hit and occasional 2 hits you can take off a goblin). These fighters need quick HP boosts, and so Sharks are just the answers.
Sharks are hard to fish, but just think about it. If you spend your time, trying to fish and cook 1,000 sharks, but the end of it, you’ll have sharks equivalent to 1,000,000GP (1 mill). Good, yes?
Ok, so maybe it’ll take you too long to get to that kinda level. Alright, alright, let me explain to you a few easier ways of making your money in Runescape.
Right, now that you’ve had the major ways of Read more »

The Ultimate Runescape Gold Guide - Part Three
Map to find a location that’s near the bank for efficient depositing, and has a good amount of coal rocks, along with a few people there). It’s always difficult mining the right mining spot, I’ve even resorted to using the Lumbridge swamp mines which is no where near the bank (closest bank being in Edgeville). I had to resort to mining a full set of coal, and then teleporting to Edgeville bank in order to deposit. Then running back to the mining area, mining, and then repeating the process. Now there are obviously big disadvantages with doing this, one, you’ll need a high magic level in order to teleport, two, you’ll need the runes to teleport, and normally these cost quite a bit, and three, you’ll have to carry the runes in your inventory, thus taking up space where you could have Read more »

The Ultimate Runescape Gold Guide - Part Two
Cutting yews is just one of the many ways of making some serious GP in Runescape. You’ve also got the commonly used merchanting.
Merchanting is about arbitrage; buying low, and selling high. All you really have to do is again, identify an item with demand, and play with that demand a little; taking your profit from the difference between how much you bought the time for, and how much you sold it for later on.
Let me give you a good example of an item that is commonly merchanted for cash.
Coal is an ore that is needed in all high-level metal smelting, from steel onwards. That’s what makes it’s demand so huge, and thus, it makes it a good item to merchandise in. Here is an example of Read more »

Mining is Runescape is one of the most loved and practised skills. Who wouldn't love hitting rocks all day, finding rare gems, and dumping ore into your bank, then going back to chip at those rocks all day? No, seriously, mining is a big money maker in Runescape, especially when you hit those high-levels.
The mining skill is pretty interesting. The greater you increase in level, the greater variety of ores you have to mine, and the greater variety of pickaxes you can use increases. Also, certain ores that were pretty time-consuming for you to mine previously become easier and easier to mine as your mining level increases. Read more »

There are a lot of things you need to know about your Runescape account. One major factor is security of your account, as you don't want your valuable Runescape items and character suddenly going missing now do you? Jagex has taken extra steps in the way of safety lately, for example, they introduced the bank PIN code that players can set to make the items in their bank safer if their character is hacked into. Also, Jagex tries really hard to make players realise that they will not ask for anyone's username and password, and that you must always sign in from Runescape.com and nowhere else; or you could risk losing your character to someone else.
Keeping your runescape account safe
There are a few steps you can take to ensure that your account is as safe as it can be, and not prone to getting accessed by other Read more »

Runescape is full of fun and exciting items, specially dropped on special occasions such as Christmas, Easter, and Halloween. Some of these items that were dropped years back in the world of Runescape have been extremely rare, and thus extremely valuable. For example, the Santa Hat of Christmas 2002. When dropped, they were only worth around 30k (30,000 GP) each, but now their worth has soared to the millions! This has been the same for items such as Halloween masks of 2003, and also Easter Eggs. Sadly this trend can't happen with non-tradable items (not fair, I have a Scythe) but, that makes those non-tradable items even more rare even though you can't sell them (yay!).
That moves us swiftly onto the Runescape Party Hat. These were dropped a while back too, and are the most commonly talked about Read more »

A macro is a program which does things automatically for you. You can get these programs to do a lot for you in the world of Runescape. Mining and sales talk are the two common uses for them, but before I continue to tell you about them, you must know that
RUNESCAPE DOES NOT ALLOW THE USE OF MACROS FOR ANY ASPECT OF THE GAME.
So, if you use macros, then it's on your own head. Your account could get banned and you could lose everything on your character.
Be careful when using bots, as some of them are fake, and are programs used to take data from your computer (so they could take anything from your Runescape User and Pass to your credit card details). Read more »

Runescape item duplicators. A dream come true, yes? Well let me tell you one thing, there is no such thing. There never has been. All those who claim to have one are lying, and if they say there are item duplicators, there aren't their just a nasty thing called Spyware. Spyware is used to steal information from your computer. So they can take anything from your Runescape username and password to your credit card details so beware.
DON'T "PURCHASE" AN ITEM DUPLICATOR OR LOOK FOR ONE, REMEMBER, THERE'S NO SUCH THING.
If you have a mate that claims that he has an item duplicator, laugh in his face, and wish him good luck his character along Read more »

Are you the person who likes to have a lot of fun while playing games? Runescape has the answer to this player killing. Runescape features a special area in the game, where player-to-player combat is allowed it's called “The Wilderness. The Wilderness, to put it in place, is the exciting part of Runescape.
When player killing, there are certain rules that are applied to the wilderness. For example, you are stopped from attacking or being attacked by certain combat level characters dependant on the level of The Wilderness your in. The further you venture into The Wilderness, the more The Wilderness level is, the greater the gap of combat for PKing. If you don't understand that very well, here is an Read more »

Rare items you say? Yep, it's true; there are items in Runescape that are very rare and worth millions of gold pieces. Take for example a few years back, when the good old Santa Hats were dropped (believe it or not, I had a character back then). They were being dropped all over the place, and were only worth 30,000 GP each. Now look at them, going for millions!
There were also an abundance of other items dropped on special occasions, for example, Easter Eggs on Easter 2002, and the brilliant Scythe on Halloween 2003. Those were the days...
For the more recent players though, there isn't going to be a chance to obtain a very valuable item anymore and be able to sell it a few years later. That's because Jagex have changed the way these holiday items are given out, and I don't think they'll carry the same value now Read more »

Runescape is a game of endless possibilities. Seriously, when I say that I mean it. It's a bit like the American-dream, you can instantly make money from the word go. Obviously, there's a catch to be able to make loads of GP in Runescape, you'll need a bit of money to invest.
If your totally new to Runescape, then it's best that you start with one particular skill, and exploit it to make money. To give you an idea of what I mean, take mining for example. Mining is a good way for any character to make some GP all you need is your trusty pickaxe, and a nice mining spot near the bank. Mining is a good way skill to really concentrate on, as it is one of the skills that could potentially make you a lot of money (especially with ores such as coal and onwards).
Now, onto merchanting. Merchanting is basically buying and selling items your profit being the different between the amount Read more »
