The Runescape Santa hat was dropped in the 2002 Christmas drop. The only way to get one now, is to buy it for 25 million gp. It was the last tradable holiday item, and it is still the most popular. A lot of members have the Santa hat and like to show it off every now and then. However, if I owned a Santa hat, I'd just save it for a year or two. The price of the Santa triples every year. Its also hard to find someone that's selling one. You could go onto the website forum under discontinued items and search Read more »

There are wide varieties of Runescape goods, also known as items. Some are very cheap such as bread, wool, or a bronze dagger. However, others are very expensive, such as a dragon battle-axe, or a dragon med helm. Some goods are more important to some people than others are, such as fish is important to a fisherman, or a shield is important to a warrior. The fish can be sold to the warrior, as the warrior will want to eat and stay alive in battle. Thus, the fisherman makes money. Runescape has a lot of balance in it. Without the fisherman, then the Read more »

How to make a safe password when creating an Account
Are you making a Runescape account? Do you want it as safe as possible? Then you need to have a safe password that is not easily guessed. A good password would be a pet's name and the year you were born. (Examples: max87 spot94 sam57) Perhaps a birth date of a famous person, a favorite book, or even just a random word. These are all great examples of runescape passwords. The more you can distance yourself from the password, the better. Of course, you want to be able to remember it, but you do not want it so easy so that a friend or relative Read more »

Before I begin, there are no safe Runescape hacking methods. There are, unlike the Stronghold of Security states, Runescape hacks. Runescape does not want you to know about these Runescape hacks, because obviously they do not want anyone cheating. If you are caught cheating, you will be banned. With all of this said, let me begin.

What you see above is the "JagHax" Auto clicker. It will click over and over at a certain spot. Its not one of the best hacks out there, but it is Read more »

Before we begin, let's take a moment to learn the basics of the Grand Exchange. When you open the Exchange window, you will see six boxes with 2 boxes in each. One box is for buying, and the other for selling. You can pick the quantity and the price for either buying or selling. Usually when selling, the lowest price possible will be the fastest sell.

Let me show you an example. As you can see from the Read more »

I am sure that we have all heard the term glitch or runescape bug. Most of them have now been fixed, and only a few people know those that still remain, or they are just rumors that do not work.
Usually the runescape bugs are minor like walking around while sitting on a bench inside a house. However, there have been some runescape glitches that were so bad it forced Runescape to do a roll back, and exp, items, and all that happened in that day was virtually erased. The glitch I'm speaking of now is referred to as World 111 Massacre, or Falador Massacre. It started out that with Read more »

I'm sure we have all heard people say they have been hacked at least once. Usually they are lying to get free items or gold. This does not mean that there are still not hackers out there. The best way to secure your account is never to give out your password to anyone. But, this is not always going to work. There are other ways of protecting your account even if someone happens upon your password.
One way would be to set recovery questions. This way, if someone changes your password, you can get it back. But by then, your account could be drained of all of its items. So this is not a good thing in that way. But, you can protect items in your bank by setting a bank Read more »

I am sure you, as most Runescape players, envy those people out in the wilderness firing firebolts like there is no tomorrow. On the other hand, perhaps you want to take the Greater Demon down with ease? I'm about to teach you a secret most people will find odd and pick on you about, but it's brilliant.
We will start our training NE of Port Sarim, where the wizards reside. Bring along mind and air runes. It's cheaper to use an air staff instead of purchasing air runes, this way you only have to purchase mind runes, so that's a better way to go. Trust me, no matter what level your mage level is, you will want to use wind strike. I know the wind strike is he weakest spell but Read more »

Many of you will walk into a bank and hear some person shout out "selling 100k swordies!!!!". You probably are thinking how in the world did he catch that many?! Well, that is what you are about to learn.
First, we will start with the basics:
Shrimp. You will have your net as soon as you are off Tutorial Island. The best thing to do, is find a netting place and begin fishing. The best place to fish is at Draynor, which is west of the Lumbridge Castle. There is a bank close by, so fish, and bank. You may want to make a fire and cook the fish, because cooked fish will get you more money. Keep fishing up the ranks. After level 5, move on to Sardines, at 10, Herring, and so on and so forth. If you are Read more »

There are many areas to train on Runescape, but they usually have a lot of people taking all the monsters. I will tell you specific places to train, and what skills should be trained. Most of the higher leveled areas I speak of will be non-member areas. In this article you will learn where to train, and why. My areas are not guaranteed to be free of other players.
Level 1-10
You start at Lumbridge at level one and you look around and see goblins everywhere. You should at least gain one or two levels from goblins. Then you move to cows or chicken. Kill cows and chicken, and take their meat. Their meat comes in handy later on when you need food for health points. Once you hit level 5, head towards Varrock. In Varrock, there are giant rats outside of the walls Read more »

Runescape has a variety of weapons and weapon styles. I will go over the different weapons and their uses in this article. All the weapons on runescape have different uses and different types of attacks. Some weapons hit harder than others, and some hit low, but are fast. There are other factors that can increase your attack percentages. Attack styles determine how much damage you produce, and how much experience you gain. Attack styles are important to understand before you go into combat.
Attack Styles
There are four main attack styles on Runescape. If you click your cross swords in your hub, then you can see the variety of attack styles. The most common style used by people is accurate. Accurate won't help you level your skills such as defense or strength. Accurate helps raise your attack skill. You get four experience points per damage point given. Aggressive is stronger than accurate, but a little inaccurate. It is also slower, giving your opponent to attack more than Read more »
