Where to Train on Runescape

January 1st, 2008 by admin

There are many areas to train on Runescape, but they usually have a lot of people taking all the monsters. I will tell you specific places to train, and what skills should be trained. Most of the higher leveled areas I speak of will be non-member areas. In this article you will learn where to train, and why. My areas are not guaranteed to be free of other players.

Level 1-10
You start at Lumbridge at level one and you look around and see goblins everywhere. You should at least gain one or two levels from goblins. Then you move to cows or chicken. Kill cows and chicken, and take their meat. Their meat comes in handy later on when you need food for health points. Once you hit level 5, head towards Varrock. In Varrock, there are giant rats outside of the walls Read more »

Runescape Weapons - Weapon Attacks

December 14th, 2007 by admin

Runescape has a variety of weapons and weapon styles. I will go over the different weapons and their uses in this article. All the weapons on runescape have different uses and different types of attacks. Some weapons hit harder than others, and some hit low, but are fast. There are other factors that can increase your attack percentages. Attack styles determine how much damage you produce, and how much experience you gain. Attack styles are important to understand before you go into combat.

Attack Styles
There are four main attack styles on Runescape. If you click your cross swords in your hub, then you can see the variety of attack styles. The most common style used by people is accurate. Accurate won't help you level your skills such as defense or strength. Accurate helps raise your attack skill. You get four experience points per damage point given. Aggressive is stronger than accurate, but a little inaccurate. It is also slower, giving your opponent to attack more than Read more »

Runescape Economy

December 9th, 2007 by admin

Economy is really complex on Runescape. Runescape gives you varieties of ways to make money. You also learn things that link to real life from the game. It is easier to make money on P2P servers rather than F2p servers for many reasons. On P2P servers, you have a variety of skills and areas to help you. On F2P servers, you are short of some major skills, and armor. You can make money while raising your skills. Or you can make money the easy way. To become the best in Runescape you'll have to go through both ways. You'll learn all about it in this article.

Leveling Up
The first way is getting money from leveling up. People train all day and rely on their money by drops. Drops can range from items worth 1 gold to items worth millions of gold. That way is time consuming and is all based on luck. Drops such as dragon armor can turn you from a poor character to a rich one. Fighting in the Barrows can make you strong and rich. Barrows armor is worth a lot of gold, and Read more »

Surviving Runescape

October 8th, 2007 by admin

During your stay at runescape, there will be many times when you die. The question that is most frequently asked to me is how do I survive in runescape? Humans, demons, or dragons are always killing me! Well, here is a guide for survival for non-members.

Here is the most basic tip that you will ever get, don’t fight people who appear in red. They will slaughter you! If you are in a multi zone, wait for someone else to attack a monster before you attack it. If it attacks you before you attack it, run and hide until it attacks someone else. Hiding behind fences and ranging or maging works just as well. Working in teams is your best bet to survival.

The wilderness, the best place to go if you want to die… Unfortunately, no one really wants to die in the wilderness. The best thing to do in the Read more »

Runescape Training Guide

October 2nd, 2007 by admin

All Runescape players have trained at least once in their Runescape life. Whether it is killing men in lumbridge or going one on one with greater demons in the wilderness, it's still considered training. This guide will hopefully allow you to choose the most efficient way to train and maybe earn some spare gold while you are at it.

When you begin Runescape, you start at Tutorial Island. This is the best place to train when you are level 3. Unfortunately, you can only train to level 3 in any skill on Tutorial Island, or so I heard. When you are finished, go to lumbridge by talking to the mage in the final training field. Lumbridge is dangerous to level 3s but so is anywhere else in Runescape. Don't take on men in lumbridge for they will kick your butts after a while. Depending on what you want to be, go to different training areas. For Read more »

Runescape non-member Pking Guide

September 28th, 2007 by admin

Pking, or player killing, is one of the most favorite pastimes in Runescape history. The deeper you go the harder it is to survive. Jagex, they creators of Runescape, created new items and armor to ensure the combat triangle to stay alive. Unfortunately, they did not count on people making hybrids to combat and destroy the combat triangle. Here is the most recent guide to defeating all and save money in the wild.

Ranger pures: Ranger pures enjoy their speed and mild damage in any battle. Also they have d-hide armor that protects them from mages in combat. Standard inventory for rangers include 24 food varieties and 3 teleport runes. They should have an empty space to pick up fallen arrows. Their armor should be d-hide chaps and vambraces. Their weapon of choice is definitely the bow. Arrows depend on Read more »

Previously, and in the future, we'll write about so many tips and tricks that you'll be a world-wide renowned player if you follow them all. However, there are people out there who are too lazy to do the work for themselves. Some of you reading this article may have had your Runescape account stolen by hackers and thieves. If you're ever asked to participate in helping to steal Runescape passwords, please report it to Jagex immediately. There's no fun in getting accounts illegally, and it's morally wrong. Slayer skills are extremely important to utilize in Runescape, especially if you are a member. Since you are paying for access to this benefit, why not make the most of it? The Slayer skill, in essence, allows one to kill monsters and other creatures that are extremely difficult, or otherwise impossible to kill without access to the skill.

First, make sure to find the slayer master. Click the Key button in your control panel. Then, navigate to the page that says Slayer Master. Here is a screenshot of this page.
