I am sure that we have all heard the term glitch or runescape bug. Most of them have now been fixed, and only a few people know those that still remain, or they are just rumors that do not work.

Usually the runescape bugs are minor like walking around while sitting on a bench inside a house. However, there have been some runescape glitches that were so bad it forced Runescape to do a roll back, and exp, items, and all that happened in that day was virtually erased. The glitch I'm speaking of now is referred to as World 111 Massacre, or Falador Massacre. It started out that with Cursed_You got 99 construction before anyone else, and through a party. After awhile, people were in the fight arena and he expelled everyone.

Those that were in the arena, found that they could attack other players outside of the wilderness. One of the most known people that had a bit of fun player killing outside of the wilderness was Durial321. He went crazy using ancient magic and killing everyone in sight. The screenshot below I took of a video that is on YouTube. There are quite a bit of them, and if you want to learn more, check there. In the end Jagex banned Durial321 and I'm sure quite a lot of others. Cursed_you was banned also, but for different reasons. It had nothing to do with the massacre.

There was also a glitch in the mage arena where you could high alch an amount of gold coins and get 99 mage immediately. It was rumored that by doing this your account would be banned in 24 hours. Of course, this was patched along with the falador massacre.

There is also a person named The Box Noob. I'm not certain if he has been banned or not, but some think he is or was Durial321. This person was level 3 and was able to become a zombie, and a green dragon! He walked around showing off and growing crowds. There were a lot of rumors of he is a bot, he is a macro, he is a mod or admin, he is a hacker who has actually hacked Runescape but of course, this was all wrong. He was just a normal guy who found a glitch.

One glitch is in a house. It's only minor, but it is indeed a glitch and you can do it. It takes two people. One has to sit on a bench in the house. The other can then continuously click sit on the bench, and when they get right behind the bench, the sitting person then clicks sit on the bench. Once you are both sitting in the same chair, one gets up, and the other will be able to move around the house sitting in the chair. To sit and move, you must click and then turn building mode on. Obviously, with 2 people in it, it won't go into building mode.

So yea, those are some glitches. As you can see, a lot of times the are minor runescape glitches, but some can cause great havoc. I do not advise trying to find glitches. They can get your account banned if you're caught. If you want to see some more glitches that are around, or glitches of the past, YouTube is a great source. Its fun to see them but again, I don't advise trying them yourself. Even if you're not banned, you will most likely get warnings. Remember, if a player tells you to try a glitch, most likely it's a way to scam you. Runescape is doing more and more to stop scammers, as now you can't type your password into the chat. This is a good thing seeing as when someone asks for your password, they ARE going to steal your account.
