How to get higher Attack on Runescape

May 2nd, 2008 by admin

There are several ways of getting higher attack levels on Runescape. The most common way is to just train on monsters. Although training on monsters is probably the most known and considered the easiest way, there are indeed other ways. For members, there is the mini game of Pest Control. In this game, you fight bugs on an island with your team. If you achieve a certain amount of points while fighting, you will get some points afterward, which you can use to get items. The points while fighting are calculated by your hits. If you hit a 5, you will have 5 points. If you hit a 10 after that, you will have 15 and so fourth. I believe the goal is 60 points or more. More is always better as the more you get the more points you will get back on the island. To get to Pest Control you will have to take a ship found at Port Sarim. It is a fun mini game and is very good with raising your attack, though I do not recommend it for lower levels.

For Lower levels, training is probably the best. You could also do some quests. Quests will sometimes give out experience points as a reward. Though remember, these can take a long time and you could have spent the time it took you to do the quest in training and gotten more levels.

If you decide to train, there is really no basis for it. However, of course there are "recommended monsters", but this is not to say that they are to abide by at all times. When I was raising my attack to 60, I spent half of the time fighting goblins. (Yes the level 5 goblins up at Goblin Dimoplocy.) These gave quick and easy exp. In the time it would take me to fight 1 high level monster with food, I could kill like 25-30 goblins without food. Eventually I went into the
Stronghold of Security and killed the level 13 goblins, and then moved onto Minotaur which gave me that extra boost to 60 attack. Therefore, as you can see, there really is no basis.
If you were to train, it's a better idea to train on lower level monsters with more exp than higher-level monsters with less exp.

You might even want to bring a friend; it will help keep the boredom down.

How to get higher Attack on Runescape 2

There are many other ways to get higher Runescape attack than what I just mentioned. There are other mini games to offer you more attack experience. You can get experience in Castle Wars, or the Duel Arena. The Duel Arena is good if you have a friend. Then you can fight them a bunch of times. Many times you can find people willing to let you train on them inside of the Duel Arena hospital, though a lot of people are there to duel and not get killed, so don't get your hopes up on some stranger. Its better to ask your friends.

You could also train inside the Fight Pits. I really like to train there as the scene looks cool, and it gives some good exp.

Now, that you know a little something about how to get higher attack on Runescape, Why not go out there and try it? What have you got to loose? Well I suppose if you die you could loose some good items if you were skulled and carrying them, so don't go training when your skulled.
Then you won't have anything to loose. (Unless you carry more than three items.)

Don't be afraid to loose your items, because if you do loose them, you can always buy some more. Now, don't start complaining about being poor. You can always beg on the streets. Alternatively, go fishing, mining and so on. (On the other hand, even go pking when you have a higher attack.)

Another way is too go to the to swords on your right (it is above your new inventory) Then take a look at the options click on them and you may even be able to get more defence. Right now my attack is 15

Much easily, attack dummies until lvl 5, which is the max. Kill goblins until lvl 10, since their drops are bad. Kill giant rats (boo!) until lvl 15 or 20, but 20s better, and keep all (ALL) the meat and cook it. Try to use a controlled attack type, and if you are a member, do fremminink trials. Anyways, continue killing cows for their cowhide until lvl 25. (Remeber, attack type is controlled and the levels are attack levels) For members, start killing Yaks. For free play, keep killing cows until you can wear at LEAST full adamant. Attack the Thugs in the wildies until at least lvl 35. For members, still kill Yaks. Now, kill Unicorns. For members, their horns are 1k ea. Keep doing this until lvl 45. Members may switch now. Fight Hill giants until lvl 60. Wear Rune, or better! Go down into the cave for blurite. Go to the hobgoblins and kill them for some time, until lvl 65. Kill Ice soldiers, NOT GIANTS, until lvl 70. They will suddenly seem easy at such a level after STILL fighting easy dudes. Kill ice giants now. Sweet and simple.

Oh right. Another good way for members to get ranged exp is chinchompas. Lots and lots in multi-combat. Like the Void Knight. Or the Ice Queen. Or even Clan Wars, and the best… CASTLE WARS!!!

The reason for this is because not only does a chinchompa do from 0-8 damage, it has splash damage. Just like ice barrage, but it us MUCH cheaper. Any enemy in a 3×3 range will be damaged. You can “set” a chincompa like a mine, by choosing “long” and shooting it at a nearby enemy that is the FIRST in a horde. so, some enemies behind will die. sweet and simple.

    Attack lvl 54
    Str lvl 53
    Defence lvl 51
Range lvl 44 (1 more for chinchompas!)
    Hitpoints lvl 51
    Prayer lvl 45!!!
Magic lvl 57 (highest so far)
    Combat lvl 68 (67 for f2p)

    Great ways to level attack:

The Waterfall quest is a quick and easy quest to complete and gives Attack XP.

Monkey Madness, although sorta long at the end you can get training from the Gnome who brings you to the hanger. Gives you like 20k XP in Attack, Strength, Constituion, and Defence.

For training if you are a member you can get 3 items only with you. Weapon, and 2 pieces of armour. Do the quest (I forget which one it is) to set your spawn point to Falador and you can kill white knights. When they kill you, you will respawn right next to them.

Level 7 Gaurds in Al Kharid are quick and easy XP.

Gaurds outside Black Knights Fortress are good as well. Those are a few of my favorite places to train Attack if you have a higher combat level. Good Luck!

George i leveled up my attack 12 levels in 6 days using this technique do the dragon slayer quest and make sure you have a fishing level of 40+ and a cooking level of 40+ bring 30 gold, lobster pot, hatchet and a tinderbox and bring your armour and weapon. go to the fishing spot on karamja and fish lobbies there till you get a full invent then cook them using yor tinderbox and logs (you can always get logs from ontop of the volcano) then head up to the volcano where you fight elvarg the dragon and keep on going until you see a rope. when you climb up the rope search around the island until you find the moss giants kill them until you get your attack level up. i had the same problem as you this is what i did. hope this helps :D

Alright, what you want to do is:
    1. Get full rune armour
    2. Buy around 300 lobsters (or you can fis for them)
    3. Put all your armour into the bank
    4. Run to the wilderness volcano (there is a bank there)
    5. Get your armour and a full inventory of lobsters out of your bank
    6. Go through the entrance into where the Greater Demons are
    7. Kill them (don’t worry they aren’t that hard to kill and can only hit a max of around 95, also you are safe from revanants there)
I only recommend this for levels 60+

    Greater Demons drop:
    • fire runes 37-75
    • death runes 5-15
    • chaos runes 5-15
    • rune full helm
    • rune med helm
    • coins 47-365
    • body talisman
    • thread
    • ashes (always)
    • gold bars

I hope this helps, I got really good exp from doing this and a fair amount of gold my combat level is 74, my attack is 62 my strength is 65, my defence is 63 and my constitution is 61

Fast way to train xp for f2p and members
    ———-
    -Flesh Crawlers
Bring a cannon with you and place it in another room. Next, you go to a different room and you kill the flesh crawlers, you’ll be gaining range and strength/attack/defence/magic/ etc, xp at the same time. IF your cannon runs out of ammo, refill it.

    -Giant Spiders
These guys provides more than 900k xp a day if you use a weapon that could kill them fast, such as abyssal whip or higher. I suggest defence potions and prayer potions. If you’re a f2p, bring swordfish or lobsters.

    -Yaks or Rock Crabs
Generally, these monsters are high xp but it’s obviously crowded.

    -Zamorak Warriors
These guys gives you more than 2,000,000,000 xp each day. high armour required.

  13. ghouls or wereolves/slayer

alright, first you need to finish priest in peril quest, to acess the trapdoor.. if youve done the quest go through the trap door that you go through in the uest and youll end up in canifis.. go to your left and theres the level 42 ghouls.. follow the path on your right and there’s level 24 people that when you attack, they turn into level 88 werewolves.. there great charm droppers (well the werewolves are) and the werewolves drop rune med helms.. so good luck!!!!!!!!
